The LDYS stand for a fairer system of governance. They believe in free state owned education and healthcare for all, to ensure everyone has the best possible chance in life.

They also stand for fair taxation amongst the different strata of incomes, to ensure better public services and a better environment, making the United Kingdom a better place to live, and work. And they stand for trust, because for too long the political system and the public have been separated by a barrier of scepticism and mistrust.
